Federal election call indicates rightward swing of Trudeau Liberals

The Liberal party you vote for today will not be the one that will be governing after the election, even if the Liberal governed is re-elected.

I say this because it seems the most likely reason for Liberal PM Trudeau to call election now two years early is because he is planning to do things after the election that the NDP, which currently props up his government, would not abide.

If they were progressive people-friendly policies, Trudeau would not expect the NDP to oppose them, therefore it seems Trudeau is planning financial retrenchment and other polices that will hurt working families.
