Check out next issue of the Mill Wood Mosaic produced by Arnim Joop

page 7 "Old Alberta elections may point way to future"

In which I point out how Alberta used Single Transferable Voting to elect MLAs in Edmonton and Calgary from 1920 to 1950s and in western Canada cities from Winnipeg to Victoria.

These more or less extensive (in some cases more, in some cases less) experiences proved that there was nothing outside the Canadian character, outside simple technology, outside Canada politics in STV. And that the STV cities' representatives were representative of the voters sentiment and consensus-based. No dangerous extremists were elected. No one party took all the seats. No candidate with substantial support was left un-elected.

So check it out if you can
