Is Alberta Liberal or conservative?

This deeply-flawed question can be seen on the internet.

Like, come on...

Aren't there any other choices than the Liberal Party or conservative (lower case so as not to differentiate among the myriad of right-wing parties we have now apparently)?

Yes of course there are other choices.

To be fair, to look at the recent provincial election, about half the voters voted for Conservatives, with a third voting for the NDP (a social democratic party that is neither Conservative nor Liberal). The First Past The Post system used for the election scewed the results so it appears that Alberta is more Conservative than the votes indicate.
