based on true story of British intelligence specialist who leaked fact that the U.S. had no real evidence that Iraq was building weapons of mass destruction, as same time as U.S. President George W. Bush was asking Britain to participate in the "coalition of the willing" to attack that country. Tens of thousands died as result of that unwarranted conflict.
