Fair Vote Canada produced a podcast entitled PR 101, well worth a listen/watch. This video was made in April 2021.

One thing I would see different:

I wish that Dennis or Anita had made it more clear that under STV, only one choice on each ballot, at the most, is used at the end to elect someone. not all ballots are used ot elect someone but when they are, only one choice on that ballot is used.

The idea that many choices produce proportional representation could lead people to think that all the choices are added together in some way to elect people.

There is no abstract mathematical calculation -- the candidates with more votes are elected, either when they surpass quota or just by comparison with vote tallies of other candidates.

Hope you enjoy it.
