Understanding the Winnipeg STV provincial election -- understanding the vote transfers table in Wiki "1927 Manitoba election"

The count table protraying the 1927 Winnipeg provincial election is flawed in that each count in the table does two purposes - for instance, transferring votes that arise from both an elimination and an election of a member, and that.

Here is a translation of the Counts in the Wiki table as compared to the Counts in the actual election.

Count 2 in the table refers to the 2nd and 3rd Count in the original vote count.

Third count: Robson surplus (252 votes) transferred

Count 3 in the table refers to the 4th Count. Fourth count: Evans surplus (225 votes) transferred

Count 4 in the table refers to the 5th Count. Fifth count: James eliminated

Count 5 in the table refers to the 6th Count Sixth count: MacLean eliminated

Count 6 in the table refers to the 7th Count Seventh count: Sedziak eliminated
